This guide works when installing CFW on firmware OFW 5.03

sorry 4 this- Google the required files..
1. Download these files

PSPident
Custom firmware enabler
Hellcats recover flasher
OFW 5.03

or you can do download all these applications in an easy to user installer. and skip steps 3 through 5 (i suggest doing it the hard way but that is just me.)

2, Having successfully installed and ran ChickHEN R2 on your psp

3. Connect your psp to your pc

4. Move the pspident homebrew to the games folder on your psp it should look like this where X is the drive letter of your memory stick

X:/psp/games/pspident

do the same for Hellcats recovery flasher, and the Custom firmware enabler

5. move the OFW file 500.pbp to the recover folder on your psp

X:PSPGAMERECOVERY

6. Dissconnet your psp from your psp

7. run pspident while in the ChickHEN firmware from the xmb

8. identify what motherboard your psp has, if it is anything above a TA88V3 this will not work. if you do this with anything past a TA88V3 this will brick your psp!!
